2009 Photos and Insurance

July 12, 2009

Weird... Exactly one year to the day that I updated this site. Oh well. Four new photos in the galley from a recent jaunt. Also I put plates back on the car finally. Just pleasure insurance so now I can drive her out to hockey and this and that.

2008 Photos and Track Time

July 12, 2008

Hey everybody. I went out to Mission Raceway with Brendan last night. It was Brendan's first time and he did pretty well. We were lined up once and he beat me by 7 tenths of a second which is a big margin. I didn't pull anything impressive. Basically my conclusion is that the car is a low 15 second car. That's okay, it just means more mods. Check out the Performance section above the news post for my updated track times. There are also some photos from the track in the Gallery.

2007 Photos

Put up three more photos in the Gallery for 2007. Fall is definitely a good time for car photos. Other than that, my poor poor baby is just sitting in the car port as usual. I put some stop leak in the radiator to hopefully stop the heater core from leaking. Being the kind of person I am, just knowing that it might be leaking stresses me out. Anyway, that's all that's new for the Mustang for now!

Just two actually, nothing special but I had them. Check 'em out in the gallery!

Gripe Time!

May 23, 2007

Hello. I'm still here! I took the car out this last Friday for only the second time this year. Did an oil change and popped out the speedo cable which I thought I had secured. No big problem, it doesn't work and went back in anyway. Seems as though the goddamn heater core is leaking though. That really, really sucks. I just changed it in August and I have no desire to try fixing it again. Maybe I will try some stop leak like my dad suggested. Other than that, I polished it and that always make me feel good, haha. That's about it for the car. As for the site, I got rid of the Tech section. I had nothing there and I doubt I'll be doing any Tech Articles any time soon plus there are tons of resources out there!

Throttle Body and Spacer Are In!

December 18, 2006

I ordered a polished 65 mm Throttle body and matching EGR spacer one week before my birthday and finally they all arrived on the 14th. They are nice pieces and I can't wait to install them. I'm going to get them powder coated clear first so that I don't have to keep up the polish. A little VSS gear retainer clip came in as well, only cost me $0.57. It was kind of annoying though since I found my old one just a couple weeks before. Never hurts to have two and they're cheap anyway. Grabbed two oil filters, one for Jay, so we'll be doing an oil change on his Ranger in the new year. I'll drop a couple photos of the TB, spacer and my Cobra MAF. Happy Holidays!

This Time I'm Really Done

December 3, 2006

Okay, before the format was finished. Now the site is more or less finished finished. You know, aside from any content updating. Anyway, I sorted the links on the left menu out a little better. I added a new link in the Links section and at the top of this, the News page, I added three new sections instead of cluttering up that left menu like I said. Performance is all about how my car has done at the track and how well it brakes. 1993's Mustang is some history on the Fox Body Mustang, the Mustang in 1993 and my Mustang in general. There is also an Options and Standard equipment list to give you an idea of what kind of things go into a car and what things are specifically in my own. Shows & Awards is also pretty self explanitory. It's just a list of shows I've attended and awards I've won (not many), additionally I will list any upcoming shows I'm attending there. I'm pretty happy with the site right now, it really feels informative, presentable and finished. Thanks for looking.

As for my car, it's still in storage, but I let it run in the car port for around 10 mins the other day to keep it healthy, then I took the battery out and put that away so it doesn't drain out. Nick over at Brown Brothers Ford called me the other day to let me know my VSS Speedo Gear Clip and polished 65 mm EGR spacer came in, that's exciting and annoying since I just found my original Speedo Gear Clip last week... Oh well, my polished 65 mm Throttle Body should be coming in probably this week or next.

Finally Finished

November 22, 2006

Alright, I've changed the format of the website to something a lot more simple than what I first had in mind. Easy to read, easy to navigate. All the sections now have content except for Tech which will probably remain empty for a while since Tech articles can get involved and I'm lazy. Please feel free to leave me some feedback and I hope you enjoy Project Black Boss!

Small Update

May 7, 2006

Yes, I did actually update Project Mustang for those of you who actually checked. If you go to the Driveline section I finished three parts of it. The rear end part will have a bit more content, so I didn't finish it this weekend. Also, I'm so so very close to getting my steering rack in, but like everything in the car, nothing goes easy... I'm ready to bolt everything up and I am having clearance issues which makes no sense because it should just go in the same way it came out, nothing changed. So I'll tackle that headache tomorrow and hopefully be done with it. Thanks for checking.

Small Update

April 9, 2006

Okay guys, I got a little more information for you in the Wheels section, as well as finished up the Electrical section for now as well. That's basically all I had time for tonight, so check those out and sign my guestbook.

Welcome to Project Mustang!

April 2, 2006

Hey guys, pretty excited to open this place up. I'm just getting the News section out of the way right now, so I'm not sure what I'll actually get finished, so look around at all the sections. At the least, I'll have all the pages made up, there just may be nothing or little on them. Thanks for stopping by though. Check frequently as the car will be parked soon so I'll be working on it lots!
